Basic Plan

Crosshairs

Keep the moving crosshairs precisely centred using a joystick or keyboard input as the target drifts unpredictably. This test measures coordination, control smoothness, and continuous attention — mirroring the fine motor corrections pilots make when maintaining flight attitude or intercepting a glide path.

Orientation

Hear an instruction such as “Positive left circle” or “Negative right square,” then determine which figure is holding the correct shape in the correct hand. Combines auditory processing with spatial reasoning to test mental rotation and logical deduction.

Diamonds

Predict when a moving diamond will enter the coloured band while solving quick mental arithmetic. This task blends timing, numerical reasoning, and anticipation — testing how well you can process numbers and visual cues together.

Numeracy

Solve rapid-fire multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction problems under time pressure. Designed to measure mental arithmetic accuracy and working memory — essential for quick calculations in navigation, fuel management, and performance planning.
